Meet Diana
A prior student turned colleague has shown the aptitude, patience, and passion for being an educator. I am excited to work with someone so like-minded in her approach to connecting with students and teaching them the gift of music. Diana specializes in guitar, music composition, and beginner piano.
Her Experience
Diana has been playing guitar at a high level for over 6 years and has been in various mentor roles through her church community for even longer. With only a year of playing experience under her belt, Diana was named the lead guitarist of the Shadow Mountain Community Church En Español. She has held that position for 5 years running and you can see her playing with many other amazing musicians there every single Sunday.
While being a force in her community, Diana has also taken steps forward in her education. She has successfully auditioned at numerous universities and is currently a music major at Cal State San Marcos. In her coursework, she has added piano and music production to her arsenal. Diana proudly excels at songwriting, composition, and any creative challenge she encounters with music.
Diana is patient, fun, and knowledgeable when it comes to teaching. She oozes passion and will take the time to truly understand the needs of her students while helping them progress as budding musicians.
